Our thoughts and prayers are with the Grimes family right now. I'm still in shock and disbelief about the whole thing... Wade will definitely be missed and remembered as one of the greatest people and athletes to ever attend Everett Area High School.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Grimes family. What a tragic loss. I had the privilege of watching Wade as a young man in many baseball games and wrestling matches. Always a solid competitor. One of those guys that could be put any place on the field and he would be a factor in the outcome.

May God be with all those who were close to him.

wade,
my mom taught you in school, but you taught me as well. You were a role model to many myself included. You showed what detirmination will get you and what a great athelete is. You would knock us done in practice only to help us up and do it again. You only made us better and i wish i could have played beside you more than i did. You were an honor to block for. You were one of the best. You will never be forgotten. to the family and friends of Wade you are all in our prayers. 4/12/04 never forget

MY FRIEND WADE GRIMES BY JAY SMITH

Post by belindauhavmylov »

Wade Grimes was a friend of mine . I knew him since we were six years old. It's so hard to believe he is gone. He was a good friend and we will all miss him. But, at least we know he in a better place now He was such a good person and he was liked by everyone. Our friendship began when we played little league together and grew through the years as we moved from one baseball league to another. He was part of my life for a long time. He was one of the greatest athletes in Bedford County and I admired him alot.. He taught me many things about sports and sportsmanship and I honestly looked up to him. My heart goes out to his family and they will be in my prayers.

WADE, WE WILL ALL MISS YOU !!

I knew Wade Grimes since he was about six years old and he was playing Everett Little League with my son. Over the years I watched him grow, saw him mature and was honored to observe his life as he became a wonderful young man. I am proud to have know such a dedicated athlete and great example to other young boys. His memory will be in the hearts and minds of a great many people and the life he led will inspire many for years to come. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family in this time of sorrow. May God comfort them and give them strength.

Blessings,
