This must be a 'generational' thing as much as anything else. I, just like once a runner, had no problem following all the examples and analogies. Maybe there were better examples a person could have used, but those were clear enough. Before you assume I'm just siding with Moldo because we are friends, I could care less about EITHER Pitt or PSU. Remember, one and all, this is a F-O-R-U-M. People post their thoughts and others post opposing or like views. Not everybody has to agree/ disagree with all of them. This is a small token of the freedoms we all enjoy in the USA. How many of you post-ers would still be on here bit**ing up a storm if the BC suddenly pulled the rug from under you and went to a PAY-ONLY site like the LHS did? Thank your lucky stars if it doesn't.

[quote="El-Moldo";p="96870"] It's amazing how dense some of you are. Especially you, voncap, who claim to be older and more mature. quote]

Moldo,

I may have claimed to be older, and at times I am extremely dense but I never claimed to be mature. Come on, I am on a message board harassing people. I don't think that would qualify as mature. Now who is inferring things?

By the way, I comprehend your analogies quite well. Sorry we feel this way, but some of us, me included, feel your analogies were just not appropriate. Obviously you don't and that's ok, but I'm not sure how feeling the opposite way means we have a reading comprehension problem.

I don't know what PSU fans have done to you, but if you enjoy 'kicking' the Penn State's basketball team because they are bad, it must have been some thing serious.

Okay. I have been gone a few days, and look what I missed. I'll be in Tenakey the next few days so if I say something controversial (i.e. you nitwits take something out of context) then you're gonna have to wait until I get back.

1. Moldo is not out of line with any of this. I went back and read all the posts and understood exactly what he was talking about. What IS happening here is that people are looking for things he says that can be remotely skewed so you can prance on it. What has this guy done to deserve all the hatred? He has time and time again made intelligent posts in all of these forums. You do not need to agree with him. He presents a well-thought-out opinion, regardless of what side he's on. He and I have had 150 battles on here, the high school boards, the politics boards, and everywhere else. So what? Who cares if he didsagrees with you? Show me one example where Moldo attacked a post or a poster on here and name-called or played childish games. It never happened. He's a Pitt fan, big deal. He does not like Penn State, big deal. He thinks Scott Paxson should be thrown off the team for the Robin Hood oncident, big deal! Maybe he should be thrown off the team. Maybe Penn State really is as bad as he insinuates. Maybe Kerry really was bad for America. You don't have to agree, here. But when you get in a FORUM, opinions are appreciated as long as they are thought-out. He and I have had worse battles on here than any of you have had with him, and at the end of the day, it's all just baloney because it doesn't matter. You should appreciate the fact that he's intelligent and can match you point for point. It challenges YOUR beliefs and opinions, and many do not want that, but that's the way it IS, and should be. Never once has he said something as ludicrous as "Zack Mills is a fag*ot" and so forth. He does not even belittle players as much as Titan does, who you people let off the hook with everything. And I don't even think Titan does anything wrong at all, either. I have seen Moldo go point for point against people on here and LHSports who are 100% more knowledgable about sporting rules and local sports than ANY of the rest of us are, myself included. The point is, most of the Penn State bashing is rooted in truth, whether you nimrods like it or not. I am the biggest Penn State fan on this message board and I am saying that because I am objective with even things that are close to me. I suggest you little bozos try the same. I'm not that much older than you. But with the bashing, we have a new season, and a new opportunity to show that Paterno has his marbles still and can win 8 games. Will that happen? We will see. The thing I do NOT like, is the same as always: Penn State gets bashed, whether deserved or undeserved, and those people have nothing to say about their own teams, with the exception of Former Wildcat. Show some school pride if you are going to point your fingers, whether the bashing is deserved or not. I for one AM interested in the opinions of the Pitt fans, and I want to know what they think of the new coach and how things should turn out, returning players, opponents strengths and weaknesses, etc.

2. There should be a rule on this site about punctuation and spelling. It's okay to miss here and again, but get serious. Don't you understand how much stronger your position looks when you take care in your typing? You should get yellow cards for that crap.

3. Hoss should be thrown off the site.

4. As much as I see it hard to argue with Wildcat about Ohio State, because they are very good, produce excellent athletes, and have one of the very top programs in the nation both player wise, history wise, and coaching wise, the fact remains that even though you did win that national title, it was on a bad call. A couple of years ago, Penn State lost a few games because of what were absolutely bad calls by the referees. The tapes will prove it, you have all seen it. Just like the deal with Miami and Ohio State. It worked out for OSU, just like it did for Iowa or Michigan or whoever the hell else Penn State lost to that season on botched calls. You think the Cane fans are happy with that? Happy with seeing technological proof that they got screwed out of not just a regular season game but a whole national championship? It went your way, Wildcat, and it screwed the Hurricanes fans and players. So let's be a little less harsh on the Lions whenever you were handed a gift and Penn State was on the other side of that a few times. That season was a hell of a lot different if those calls were made correctly. THen where would the bashing be? Right in the toilet. But going back to OSU for one minute, many people talk trash on that team because they previously had a slower offense that had trouble producing. Great teams find ways to win games. Like it or not, and not counting the Miami game, Ohio State had one of the best teams any of us have ever lived through because they got it done when it counted.

TAE, it's not necessarily that any of us hate Moldo or anything like that. I understand his anology as well, I just think it was not appropiate for ths situation. I met him at your weird **** Feat of Strength, and had a very pleasant time talking to him and Pale. And he is a very intelligent person. I just think he could have picked a better analogy than World War II.
