HA Could have gone either way... it went the way the C's wanted by yelling at the ref to make a bad call. The bad call was made and the C's won. What a laugh.

i take it that you are either a part of CR, a coach of CR, or a fan of CR. and you say that the game went the way the C's wanted b/c they yelled at the refs, but the last time i checked yelling at the refs does not put shots in the back of the net, the C's won the game by scoring more goals than CR not by yelling at the refs as you say, let me tell you a little bit about the C's team as well, 4 of the teams players have played soccer in high school, 1 of those 4 was the Bedford goalie who did not play in the goal but on the court, another of the 4 was a defender who played keeper b/c he injuried his knee or ankle and a day or so before that game he had his wisdom teeth out so he wasnt at the top of his game, the other two players played football, looking at CR most if not all of thier team played soccer in high school and this year the mighty lions beat the bisons, so when you look at it CRs best couldnt beat the bisons who were hurt and inexperienced

Beckham hit the nail on the head with that one, the C's biggest problem is that they have football players on the team. And as we all know the goal in football is to pound anyone that has the ball, I'm not sure that they make the distinction between the two sports. On the other hand you've got Myers on the team...he's a beast on the field and won't take crap from anyone, untill you put him in football pads, then he turns into a wimp. hahaha
The Flyers are just like the Titanic. They both look good until they hit the ice

No yelling at a ref will not at a point to your total. However in this case yelling at the refs took a point a way.

Im not trying to turn this into a Bedford Vs Ridge thing nor do i care who makes up what team. What i'm saying is i have seen this all year at pro care. Younger kids refing older kids and the older kids yelling at the refs to get calls there way.

A couple points.

1. Yes, that reverse of the call was terrible, but that is common at ProCare. They have players from Bedford officiate for other players from Bedford. Usually that does not impact the game and the Fighting C's might still have won, but that call was awful and makes me question whether the officials even know the rule for when to call a hand ball.

2. Soccer star is right about the level of competition. Even the Summit is much better. Bedford would have been competitive at the Summit, but they would not be the top team.

3. Bedford needs to get over the fact that Ridge beat them soundly. It is pathetic if they think that winning an indoor game in February proves anything to the guys from Ridge who beat them 3-0 when it counted. I think there is some resentment from Bedford that they have been the second best team in the county two years in a row after years of domination.

no one said that bedford thinks it proves anything that they beat ridge in an indoor game i was just trying to prove that a ridge soccer team should have blown a bedford soccer and football team out of the water, instead ridge scored very few goals on and unexperienced/injured keeper, and let a football player walk all over them, if ridge was that darn good the game should have been well one sided and not have to be decided by a refs call

Wildcat hit it right on the head and soccerstar had a good point as well. I thought that Procare was taking steps towards having a very nice league for indoor soccer, but with too many incidents happening like last weekend, their respectability comes into question. The fact is some people will go into the Summit next year. While some of you may not care, this will have an impact on the quality of the competition at Procare.

This is clearly about procare soccer and not how well anyone does in another league. the bedford ridge game had no effect on anything, playoff seedings were already determined, a win or loss either way would not have changed anything in the postseason.

the game we were referring to in earlier posts was a game during the first round of playoffs that knocked ridge out of the league thats why it was a big deal, the game came down to the end and i beleive the score was 8 to 7 in favor of fighting C's and a ridge player was dribbling down the court with about 2 minutes left and he fell on the ball and the ball rolled to another ridge player and as the C's were yelling hand ball the ridge player shot and scored the refs called hand ball, ridge blew the free kick and the C's wasted out the clock
