Since kids who play sports at McCort don't get "athletic scholarships", can't athletes leave the private sector anytime they want MAINLY because of the $5,000 a year tuition????? I mean when kids in private schools get into trouble with discipline or with grades, don't private schools slough them off to their public school districts? Then why is it unusual that parents just can't pay such a steep tuition and send their kids back to their original "free" district? Should parents be "Forced" to pay $20,000 to stay in the private school system once they leave 8th grade? And I don't think the question here is about kids leaving public or private schools when they finally graduate from 8th or 9th grade. This happens all the time. Decisions are often made concerning athlete's futures once they leave Jr High. Shawn Lewis and Jake Livella left FH after 8th or 9th grade. No problem here. Once you latch onto someone in 8th grade, are you supposed to keep a hold of them for the next 4 years? The problem is, students leaving schools LATE in their careers, such as just for their senior years.

Let me tell you what's funny about "defense wins games" last posting. He was mentioning how good McCort would have been if they would have had Hoffman on their team a few years ago. Well what about the reverse? What kind of team would McCort have had if O'Connor, Wadley, Lewis, and the aformentioned Hoffman would have stayed in their original districts? What kind of team would they have had then?????

You mentioned 3 people that other schools "lost" that started for the team that would have beat the quips if they had Hoffman...Kurt should have probaly been at JCS, but choose to go to St. Benedict for 3 years. Besides Hoffman was turned in for attending 7th grade twice at St. Benedicts by none other than Rick Roberts from mccort.

In all seriousness, you have proven yourself to be an idiot then just cementing the fact you do not know WTF you're talking about & the fact that you have no class @ all you bring/sling someone's name into the mud WHO HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE KH FIASCO FACT!!!

Here's what happens when public goes to private. If 5 kids leave 20 different Johnstown area public schools, they will all end up at McCort. This will give a BIG advantage to BM, with 5 new players. If 5 kids leave a private school, these 5 kids will be more likely spread out over 5 DIFFERENT public schools. Therefore ONE certain public school WILL PROBABLY NOT get 5 new players, but 5 different, separate, and distinct schools will only get one player each. See the difference? Because of multiple players arriving at private schools over a period of time, the advantage goes to the private school. It's a proportion thing. One team with 5 new players; 5 teams with ONE new player each. World of difference. And when you generally consider usually really good players head off to the private schools (players whose parent's are willing to spend alot of money to have their kids enroll and play at private schools), it only compounds the problem.

you are classless young man(I'll assume you r young @ least that's some semblance of an excuse) I too know the details of that deal & Bish Mccort actually assisted Jtwn with the process when it came to a head but you post someones name on a public board that had nothing to do with the situation - what a tough guy - do u feel good being such a gutless, irresponsible person?
