I never said that Christianity is different from other religions...that's why I don't consider myself associated with any religion. Nor have I ever said I don't believe in Jesus, I believe very much that he was a man, who taught and did great things with great love, I just believe that the Bible and those who are "christian" embelish the things he did to make him seem "super human"

"every religion teaches like it's truth... so how is Christianity different? because it is truth"

funniest quote of this entire thread.
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

WALTER4: You said that Jesus "was a man who taught and did great things with great love". What are these great things that you think he did?

turned people away from the old "eye for an eye" way of life...teaching people how to turn the other cheek, how to roll with the punches, how to live a good life. he brought up people's morales. he was a good man.

What about those things is not great? Yes, any mortal man could have done those things, but not every mortal man did. But wasn't Jesus mortal?

i don't think it'd be as bad if Christians didn't have a smugness about them... it's really against what Christ was about which i think is kinda funny...

I don't know about you count, but I'm a Christian and I don't go around driving hybrid cars and smelling my own farts.

It's a good thing because San Fransisco has enough smugness to destroy the world...not to metion George Clooney's Oscar acceptance speech.
