I came across Cam Norris' recruit profile, stats and highlights online. very successful frosh season. definitely an underclassman to keep an eye on and making an impact on the Central varsity squad. I'd add him to a PA prospect watch list. the kid is raw but has high motor and keeps coming. He could play multiple positions on the field.

Maybe you should post that one again, maybe 10-12 times. We missed it the first 4 times.

Did this Cam Norris play JV in 2013, or were these varsity stats?

Who actually keeps those kind of stats for JV players? Pancake blocks? Stuffs? QB pressures? What about 1st hits?

I am not sure that I have ever seen a stat page so in depth to begin with. Then to see it at the Jr. High Level (which it appears to be) or possibly JV level, seems a bit
absurd. I hope the young man does well

If there's one thing about Cam Norris, he's persistent. He gets his name out there, and he wants to play football beyond high school at some level, and he will because of how hard he works, and how well he gets his name out there.

Now if only we could get every high school in District 5 & 6 to keep updated Maxpreps stats as well as those stats are kept, the world would be a better place.

My apologies…first time posting and not that familiar with forums. I wanted to make sure it posted and when I didn’t see my post follow the thread I kept posting. My bad.

I coached Cameron in 8th grade & this past 9th grade season. Cam was moved up from 8th grade to play freshman ball and then he played freshman ball again in 2013. He remained on the freshman team this past fall b/c Central does not move up freshman to varsity.

The stats are his 9th grade stats and we keep official stats on the staff. We then share with the kids. Helps the kids set goals.

The highlight tape is not sped up. Not sure why that was a thought. Please see his other videos and HL’s from recent camps/combines, etc.

Cam is set to start on varsity this coming season. He’s been putting in a lot of work in the weight room, speed training and competing at camps, etc.

I just thought I would share his HL’s, stats, etc. since he was mentioned in a quick blurb on the thread. I did not know it would be shredded. He’s a student athlete and I just wanted to share and give him a little recognition and exposure around the region. He was excited when he saw his name mentioned in the thread amongst some other outstanding underclassman in the area. My apologies if I used this forum inappropriately.

On another note…Cam just informed me he was invited to Football University’s Top Gun in Ohio. Top Prep Football event. Here’s the Press Release:

I thought he looked like nice player with a high motor. Only negative thing I could really say is that he could stay engaged a little longer when blocking from the fullback position. I've seen it happened hundreds of times where a defender bounces off and recovers to make a tackle further down field when if they could have stayed with their block a split second longer it could've been sprung for a touchdown. Looks like a pretty solid player for his age.
