I'll say it, Johnstown didn't challenge the white QBs intent when he transferred to CT. The Reeds should have absolutely played the race card. They needed better representation. The reason for the transfer was the personnel decision to fire their dad. If he were a teacher and not a coach and got fired, I would assume that they still would have left. And Johnstown challenging the transfer proves there was some animosity there.

Was he fired? School boards, ALL the time, do not just RENEW contracts for coaches, and open their nominations to their respective boards. If someone gets more votes than you, they are hired. You are not fired. Big difference.

It’s day five of football camp. Are the Reeds staying at the Osborne Street Athletic Club or not?

I believe the Reed’s are not eligible to play football for their current school, former school, or the district the reside in. Moving out of state is probably their best option. The older son has a Division-1 offer to play college football and that school may want to see senior film from there to honor it, or for him to attract more opportunities.

It was still nice to see they were “wished well” by Greater Johnstown, however.

I heard through the grapevine that the Reed brothers are going to play football in Ohio at a prep type school.

As per their Twitter accounts they’re both playing in Middletown, Ohio. Looks like Taylor is still at BM
