Re: Procare Indoor Soccer
yeah and beckham, they didnt realize that they would be competing in this league. they had no idea that they would have to play against older kids. I give them a TON of credit. They held the panthers scoreless for at least 5 minutes and scored the first goal against the Joe's....which, by the way, was a very nice job by the girl who scored it. I have little doubt that the panthers and the strikers will be in the championship...but i think that Ridge Gold might have a few surprises up their sleeves for the Joe's and the Panthers...i guess we'll see in the next few weeks.

I am not sure what is great about holding a team scoreless for a 5 minute stretch. At first I thought you meant the first 5 min of the game, but then I remembered that the Panthers first line scored 2 goals and they were only in the first 4 minutes. CR-Fire is in over their heads and hopefully this will not discourage them from continuing to play indoor soccer.

yeah dan oberman is on our team and we do have 2 extange kids one from turkey and one from germany so if u call that loaded then yes we are. But with our team most of us are 16 or below so we are not that much older than the teams.

they'll still play, believe me, they love what they are doing even if they are getting killed. They'll be back next year and the year after. Count on it

No, they definitely held them for the first 5 minutes...i remember that quite well. The panthers are a great team, but I believe that this was a great accomplishment because they're so much younger and not as experienced as the panthers. I dont know why eveyone seems to think that CR Fire signed up for the U-19 league, they were thrown into it because there were no U-16 teams.
