I don't know why you guys rag on him so much. He's a solid football player. Maybe some stuff got twisted around and he seemed like a jerk. I thought he was at first, then I actually had a chance to get to know a little about him....why don't you take the time to actually get to know the guy before you judge the hell out of him?

Probably one of the more boring KL games in recent memory.
I thought the North's passing game was disappointing, which was a directly related to the lack-o-protection provided by the Line.
IMO Love shouldn't of been the other QB of the North. Gunby would of put on a better show at the QB position.
A. Brezovic had a nice game As did Lewis and Feaster.
On a more somber note...that was one of the dirtiest All-Star games I've ever witnessed. I believe six late hit penalties. One of McCort's finest was "One more word away" from getting chucked from the game.
Good luck to the kids moving on the play at the next level. Do the area proud.

And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!
Re: Ken Lantzy 2007
that was the worst kl game i've ever seen. i thought the lantzy game was all about showing off the most talented players in the area? the coaches this year, from BOTH sides were awful. they played their kids and that's it. i counted numerous kids from both sides that played in the 1st half but not in the 2nd. i talked to numerous fathers that were there, and they even said that kids on their teams hardly got out. i thought it was a joke of a game this year.
another big issue i have is.. the meyersdale coach stahl coached, while his son was a QB for the south? yea.. that should NEVER be allowed. funny thing is, that QB from meyersdale was awful. he looked only for his teammate miller. and when he couldnt find him or he was covered, he threw it out of reach or into the ground, no matter who was open.
very disappointed in the game this year all together.

Good for Stahl. My philosophy on the KL game is to alternate kids each series for three quarters. The fourth quarter is coach's choice. If the kids know this right from the start then there should be no complaints. Everyone gets to play a lot and if the game is on the line the coach gets to get into the game who he wants.

Yeah I wasn't expecting to watch the Meyersdale offense against the North defense...I was expecting to see a little more action of of Seidel and Rubal. It's an ALLSTAR GAME...he wasn't coaching a West Pac team
I thought Coach Fetzer did a good job mixing it up, although Gunby did carry the load on the offensive side...he played one heck of a game.
I also agree, you should never be able to coach your son in an allstar game, I think we all saw why on Saturday night.

y he did win them the game and i realize that's not what it's about it's about showcasing the talent but if the coach was there to win he gave him the best chance. The south needed to win to with how much smack they talked leading up to the game
