Hmmm Bulldog. One of the losses Claysburg had this year was to Ridge. HMM a dist 5 team. Claysburg should of been beaten by NBC Hmmm A dist 5 team. YEs dist 5 stinks for sure.

Bulldogblood12345, my username.
And I would bet my left nut that every team that entered the D6 playoff tournament (with the exception of Laurel Valley, a team out of the ever-so-weak Heritage Conference), could beat Northern Bedford quite handily. I hold nothing against Berlin nor NBC, I'm just feeling that one of these teams is recieving an excessive amount of hype concerning the fact that they've "EARNED" a spot in the D5 title game. They took Tussey Mountain into OT, that's a disgrace in itself. Let's do an analogy: Calibur of play/players in a D5 Title game=........in a 1st round game in District 6. Therefore I disagree, D6 offers a great deal of talent that I feel the majority of District 5 lacks. But, time will only tell.

Yes hoopsfan, a very intellectual statement. Ridge, is a AA, yes a AA team playing in a league with school much smaller than they. So the 1st half of your comment, very genius. And now to the 2nd half, hm......I forget, who won that game. Yep Claysburg. GO District 5 for sure.....You've failed in making a point.

I'm not sure who this is (Bulldogblood), but this is Coach Black. I am hoping you aren't one of the great guys I coached at CK as a JH coach. If you are....well.....that just stinks. I am extremely proud of that bunch, and I root for them constantly. Whetstone, McIntyre, Paris, Musselman, Kyle, Mosser, Garlick, and on and on. Yeah you finished 7-2 and should have been saying your praises that you beat NB on that fourth down play where the end bit on the fake. After the initial CK surge, they got it handed to them until the last couple of drives. Congrats on a great season as I really support you guys, but quit your bashing. I doubt you're one of the guys I've seen the last two weeks just out enjoying football. Those good guys are the ones I'm oh so proud of. I saw them at BG and then a week later at Bellwood. I'm hoping I see them tomorrow night too.
Yeah, NB did go into OT with Tussey...half the game was in a stinking hurricane...look at the yardage from that game. Yeah NB didn't blow anyone out...they don't have an explosive offense. CK scored the most points on NB all season with that potent rushing attack. I know you guys could have done alright in the playoffs, but D6 was loaded this year. In other recent years, NB was in those playoffs twice...and they always earned it too...they weren't an automatic bid from D5, they earned their spot. One year it was with 3 losses...that's the most you can lose in the D6 playoffs and make it basically...some years 3 gets you in, some years 2 won't even get you in. Sorry about the luck, but don't be so bitter. You had 334 yards of offense vs. NB (I think the most they gave up all year). BUT remember this team you are picking on had 333 against you guys.

Bulldog. I believe Dist 6 is a very strong football Dist. Now to mock Dist 5 is uncalled for as they are doing what the PIAA has told them to do and that was to go back to having there own playoffs. I dont see anyone on here BRAGGING up NBC and Berlin. What I see is fans trying to support there teams in a Dist Championship game. AND OH BY THE WAY if was still the way it used to be Dist 5 always gets to automatic bids in the old format when Dist 5 and 6 were combined and that means now Dist 6 gets two more berths in the dist 6 playoffs and doesnt have to worry about two Dist 5 teams getting in. But to give you a history lesson since the jointure of Dist 5 and 6 back in 1996 Dist 5 teams Windber, Berlin, NBC, and Con township all represented Dist 5 very well in the 5/6 playoffs. Windber was Dist champs one year beating Bishop Carroll and losing two other times in the DIst finals. Throw out BC and WIndber I guarantee would of been 3 time Dist champs against the almighty Dist 6 teams. If you dont like seeing fans supporting there teams do not come into this topic of the DIst 5 championship game thread. Go cry somewhere else. By the way just curious where are u from? that is if u will answer that question. I am from bedford how bout u??
