Obviously we were lucky to get the win against a very good Bedford team.

"kick and run" wasn't exactly meant as a derrogatory comment, it can be quite effective if a team does it well, and saturday they did an excellent job of it. The speed of their striker really helped, he made bedford's defense look slow. And having his speed enabled them to keep more people back on defense which was giving bedford fits (at least from what i saw in the second half). Overall i still think bedford is the better of the two teams skill wise, but if they don't start playing with more heart, more hustle and more desire to win ridge will beat them if they play again
The Flyers are just like the Titanic. They both look good until they hit the ice

Watching the tape of the game shows that Bedford played just as much if not more "kick and run" than Ridge did. Ridge just did a better job of running. Both teams played very well and Ridge just happened to come out on top.

I still think that if we play again it will be another very good and competative game.

i think they will lose there next game. They didn't have enough balls to face sailsbury because they didn;t want to get there asses handed to them

Calm down Jackie11 the reason Ridge didnt play Salisbury is because they had a playoff game.

On a side note:
Does anyone know the Fannett-Metal vs Forbes Road score from tonight?

That is fantastic for the Lions to have beaten Bedford. Is Tom Otis' son the coach in at Bedford?

What have the Lions done since?

On Thrusday, Otober 26 the boys went to Huntington for the playoffs and came home with a WIN!!!!

All in all the first have was evenly matched, The second half Ridge played more defence and was lossing the ball alot at midfeild. The game eneded in regular time 0-0.

With in a few short mins in the OT Ridge captured the game with a scorring shot by Cody H.
