Read in the paper that North Star and Westmont are competing in the this tournament. Figured if anyone else was bored at work like I am they could check out some quality wrestling,

Westmont represented the area very well. They are a very impressive team from the top to the bottom of the line-up.
Can't wait to see the Westmont /Bedford showdown later this year.

Thanks for the link, TehNasty. I watched Bennett's championship match last night and he just dominated the kid. Great job, Hilltoppers.

I noticed at one point last night that there were 788 viewers watching the championship round. That was nice having the live streaming of the finals.

Two titlist performances stood out. Bennett decked a tough kid in the finals! And Pepplemans' tech fall in 1:46 in the finals....are you kidding?wow.

Bennett definetly was impressive pinning everyone, kindig also pinned the 7th ranked wrestler in the nation in 54 seconds at 135. He is a great wrestler and practices with the altons so that cant hurt. Was 215 a strong weight class there? I know the kid that bennett had in the finals was ranked 10th AAA not sure was his prior accomplishments were.

The Tribune Democrat had the wrong scores put up, and Josh Polacek got 5th not 7th

WOW. If Keklak would have won his match with Chelednik (Hempfield) they would have been all by themselves in 5th place. None the less, great job by ALL!!!!
