My Top 25 after Week 4...

Post by deliverance »

1. Alabama - Struggled big time last week, but found a way to beat a really good team.
2. Ohio State - Another game...another blow out for Ohio State.
3. Oregon - Their offense has just been unbelievable to this point in the season.
4. Nebraska - Very unimpressive last week, but I won't drop them, yet.
5. Boise State - Looks like Boise should go undefeated again. Ho hum...
6. TCU - Your schedule is still pathetic.
7. Oklahoma - They haven't been dominant, but they keep winning.
8. Auburn - Auburn just keeps winning. They run the ball about as well as anyone in the country.
9. Florida - I don't see them hanging within 14 points of Alabama this week.
10. Arizona - They barely got past Cal, but a win is a win.

The rest...
11. Arkansas
12. LSU
13. Michigan
14. Stanford
15. Texas
16. Utah
17. Arizona
18. Wisconsin
19. South Carolina
20. Miami
21. Iowa
22. PSU
23. Missouri
24. Michigan State
25. Oklahoma State

Not yet. I'll chalk that loss up as Texas just had a horrible performance or they're just not very good. Maybe later in the year I'll be willing to give UCLA more respect.

I like this deliverance. If you get time post your predictions for the big games this weekend between two ranked teams. They don't have to be ranked in the AP or coaches polls. Just use your rankings and pick your winners.

Texas vs Oklahoma

Wisconsin vs. Michigan State

Florida vs. Alabama

Stanford vs. Oregon

Penn State vs. Iowa

There are 5 big ones that could change your rankings :!:

Texas vs Oklahoma

I like Texas in this one, but I'm biased. I actually have no idea what to expect. I think it'll be close. Texas will not give up anywhere near the yards on the ground that they did last week. Texas has the better defense, so I'll go with them. 20-14 Texas

Wisconsin vs. Michigan State
I actually like Wisconsin in this game. They're not a great road team, but I'm not sold on Michigan State. I think Wisconsin runs the ball and wins a tight one. 21-17 Wisconsin

Florida vs. Alabama
Honestly, I think Alabama wins by at least 14. Florida has been very unimpressive. They have to travel to Alabama. 31-17 'Bama.

Stanford vs. Oregon
Oregon has been very impressive on offense this year. Their defense gave up more points than I would have thought last week, but still found a way to win. Stanford has surprised me. I think this one stays close, but Oregon has too much talent on offense. Oregon 34-24

Penn State vs. Iowa
Penn State never beats Iowa. It's at Iowa. Penn State is starting a true freshman QB. It's the Big 10. This one stays close. Iowa 14-10
