Asking a favor from my Ranger friends.....
Opinionguy,Lakers, and even Moldy, Can you guys watch or tape or DVR the Seton LaSalle-South Fayette game coming on in 20 minutes or so after all this Pens post game stuff is over, and see how they compare with your Rangers. I'm curious and haven't seen Forest Hills play yet. Just wanna see where they stack up with 2 undefeated wpial teams. I'll be watching

How bout that play! Pass gets tipped and is caught by a lineman who breaks a few tackles and runs about 15 yards before fumbling but gets recovered by a teammate who runs it in for the touchdown... Both teams have good QB's and can point up the points, but there is no defense whatsoever in this game.

Re: Asking a favor from my Ranger friends.....
I've actually seen both teams play already. Both have a ton more capable athletes than LHAC teams are used to. Neither is overly large.. and FH may be able to hang with either by controlling the ball. is South Fayette AA too?
A few years back, FH lost to a very good Seaton LaSalle team in the Western Finals. FH came out and scored easily it's first possession, and as a fan I thought we were heading back to the big game. SLS proceeded to give my Rangers one of the worst beatings I've witnessed(not South Park bad, but pretty bad). SLS and FH were both loaded with talent back then, I believe it was 2002?

yeah they are AA. Seton LaSalle reminds me a lot of 2007 Bishop McCort. #13 the RUnning Back runs a lot like Lowry and catches the ball out the backfield. Delsardo is a quick WR and the Qb has a good arm. They can score points obviously.
South Fayette has a QB with 3 offers from MAC schools, they spread it around and also have a good versatile back. They have 2 Lineman that are 265 and 280. Pretty big.

FH will certainly have their hands fun (Now's the time where OG critques my post and asks why I dislike this years Ranger squad so much).

Yeah, the Rangers should do well after cleaning up at Mansion Park...trophy is already at the engraver.

South Fayette has some athletes I'm sure. I watched them at the Bryce Jordan Center beat Strawberry Mansion in the AA Basketball Championship. If I remember right, most of their players were juniors.

Re: Asking a favor from my Ranger friends.....
Game was pretty exciting, both teams would definately test Forest Hill's secondary more than any other team in this area except maybe Cambria Heights to an extent. For Seton-LaSalle if you cancel out DelSardo you take away a HUGE portion of their offense it seems.
On a side note i did find it quite interesting that there was brothers in this game playing AGAINST each other. The South Fayette QB #7 Brumbaugh and Seton-LaSalle's (S/and i think he lined up at LB a few times) #7 Brumbaugh are brothers. Wonder what the deal was there? Didn't want to be in the Older brothers shadow at SF so he decided to go private ? It's not a real big deal just weird since most brothers/family members love getting the chance to play with each other at any level.

My guess is they both went to private school through 8th grade and they probably wanted to stay with each other's friends. And they chose different High Schools. Who knows why one went where? I've seen that happen between family, but usually its with a larger gap in age.
Anywho both teams will test the Forest Hills and Tyrone(Sorry Eaglealum haha) secondary. I mean 42-35. DelSardo had 200 yards receiving? And not to mention I think there is still 3 other undefeated WPIAL teams. These teams may not even make it to Heinz. But I was impressed with both offenses.

Eaglealum, I was speaking hypothetically too. I by no means think FH will walk through Tyrone, they may even be the underdogs. Tyrone's qb looked like the real deal last time I saw him play
