AA/AAA meets today at Baldwin. Should be some great competition and it appears the weather will be okay.
Looking forward to Matt Green (Belle Vernon) vs Rich Rouse (Penn Hills) in Long Jump....Green defending PIAA champ, Rouse signed sealed and delivered to Long Jump at Indiana U. in the Big Ten next year.
Very anxious to see Sophomore HJ sensation India McCoy (Ambridge) in the Girls AAA HJ.
And who can't get excited about the pending showdown in the AA Girls sprints between Alyssa Wise (WashHigh) and Erikka Williams (Rochester).
Anyone else have any thoughts on this meet?
I know this is primarily a District 6 and 5 board, but anyone else think it would be cool to have a Southwest Regional meet (similar to Wrestling) before states?
