I think it will be interesting to follow the Crushers, I think they can make a run at a District title.

McCort has some serious size, and experience back on the OLine. Roman runs about 6-3 270. Dorn is 6-5 300+. Johncola is in the 230-240 range, and Leech and Gritzer are seniors with experience.

-The Tight End spot should feature Ethan Neiderhiser, a 6-1 200+ kid.

-The Backfield will feature Tyler Rugg at Fullback, who is a 6-2 210 pound kid. Marc Smith is a strong candidate to be the back.

-Luke DiFrancesco is one of the better receivers around.

-Nemo Trexler coming in to playing QB is a factor, as he is one of the best athletes in the LHAC already. The sophomore is a solid QB, and could let Trexler line up in a variety of ways.

-The defense with DiFrancesco and Burgo returning starters at CB, Neiderhiser and Rugg at LB, and Dorn and Roman at DT has some experience, and they have some serious talent.

I think team speed and depth are the question marks

Anyone know who the Qb for McCort was at Richland 7on7? I don't believe Trexler was in attendance.

I believe Blake Wade. He is a sophomore, pretty good athlete. The freshman (Levi Cook) isn't bad, but hard to imagine a freshmen winning the starting QB job.

I'd say Wade will get his fair share of reps at QB, as they come up with some packages for Trexler.

With Trexler possibly having a future in basketball, I'm surprised he's out for football. And is it true that JD Jones is no longer a coach at BM?

In the 7 on 7, Bishop McCort did well, all the qb threw well, I was impress with freshmen Cook, in the Forest Hill game he threw for 2 touchdowns over 30 yards and had 1 drop in the endzone. On the last drive threw 25 yard touchdown pass to Rugg. Wade did well when he played throwing touchdown passess, but he did throw 2 int. against C.T., Good had his monements looking good on some plays and looking bad on other plays. Right Neno didn't play, which he would have.

Jones retired and moved to Florida.

I wouldn't take his loss lightly. They will truly miss his 37 years of coaching experience.

I'd tend to agree, very important part of the success through the years.

I went on Hudl and was able to round up a few clips of film from the quarterbacks, and I must say the freshman Cook looks really good for his age. Again, may be tough to start this year, but that's a nice piece of the puzzle for the future.
