Re: District 6 Class AA Playoff Standings

With the change to six classes, the districts haven’t adjusted the playoff structure very well. I’d like to see an agreement with all schools that this is how many teams will be making the playoffs. If you qualify, you play, you are not allowed not enter.
The number of teams are too high. I think the following makes more sense:
A- 8 teams make the playoffs.
AA- 6 teams make the playoffs (top 2 get a bye)
AAA- 4 teams make the playoffs.
For the larger classes, the current system is okay, but may need to think of something at the 5A level.
