Anyone watch the Clemson vs The Citadel game?
I made it to half time.
Can't take another half of that.
Clemson has 49 Points at half.
The Citadel has.....37 Yards.
THAT, was brutal.
There is no doubt that Clemson is worthy of being Ranked #1. They're good. They're good down to the 3rd, and 4th stringers.
I understand that teams schedule cream puffs early, but this was a silly matchup. Why would the #1 Ranked team in the country schedule a team at the level of a lower tier LHAC high school team? I think it's embarrassing for Clemson. Like picking a fight with a blind, 1-armed girl.
Why?

In other words it was like last night's BGU-FH game.

Probably due to the circumstances of 2020 more than anything.

Since both The Citadel and Clemson are in South Carolina, it's a spread the wealth thing. The Citadel is the sacrificial lamb and gets big bucks for the debacle. And the money stays in-state.

And, CCDevil2012, I wasn't disparaging your sister. Just trying to give an analogy of what I thought that mismatch was like. I don't recall the last time I saw such a disparity in 2 teams. Yikes.
