For probably one of, if not the worst play i have ever seen in professional baseball and maybe sports.
2 outs, ground ball, just need to tag the bag and inning is over.
Somehow ends up with trying to chase the batter on first base line, opponent on 2nd scores on a plate play, and batter gets to 2nd of an error throw to 1st base.
Again ALL THE PIRATES PLAYER NEEDED TO DO WAS TAG 1ST BASE AND THERE WAS 0 RUNS SCORED INNING OVER.
Can anyone think of any other horrific plays like this one in pro sports?
