Sorry but Bedford is a terrible venue for a championship game.

That's nice to feel that about Bedford, but where else do you go?

Hollidaysburg. Forest Hills. St. Francis. Central Cambria. But those would all cross D5 lines into D6. Shouldn't matter but it does.
It ain't over until it's over.

I'm assuming Berlin will play at Somerset Friday. Play Saturday. Play at Windber. BG plays on their home field every year. Visitor bleachers at Bedford are very low. You can't see over the players if you aren't on the top couple rows. What if it rains for a couple days?

The past few years NBC has played Tussey Mountain at Hollidaysburg, so District 5 will do that but didn't in this instance. That venue would have been good again and they have a stadium crew available even if their team is playing somewhere else. All schools don't have that. If Bedford had won, that field would be unavailable on Friday night. Chestnut Ridge is often beat up this time of year from the Heather's Kup. With new bleachers, Everett isn't a bad location now either with plenty of standing room. The parking at Bedford is interesting as well.
