Altoona Football

Post by IToldYouSo »

Based in the current state of the Altoona football program (it's in shambles), I wonder if they now realize what a huge mistake it was to fire Felus?

You can have Willie Shoemaker or Eddie Arcaro in the saddle, but if the ride under him is a nag, he ain't gonna win.
It ain't over until it's over.

Their offensive scheme is atrocious.

Were they successful when Felus was there?

Altoona vs Johnstown in the highly touted Shambles Bowl.

Why get beat nearly every week in 6A when you can transfer right down the street and win a 1A State Championship???

The emergence of BG football has REALLY hurt Altoona football. A LOT of these kids 10+ years ago would be playing for Altoona

It’s not about the X’s and O’s, it’s about the Jimmy and Joes!

I've said on here before at this point I don't know if Nick Saban could win at Altoona.

I think the downfall of Altoona has created the BG program. When Altoona was a consistently good team. BG was a decent to good team.
