I watched his win over a solid Ayala the other night, it was impressive! Maybe we're looking at the next Kyle Dake.

Has there previously ever been an LHAC wrestler win an NCAA national title in wrestling at the DI level? Besides Carlton Haselrig.

Someone should know, I don't, but how about guys like Cary Kolat or Garrett Scott? edit: OK they weren't LHAC guys.

Quentin Wright who wrestled at BEA and is currently the coach at Tyrone won 2 for PSU at the beginning of their dynasty run. The Hidlay boys from Mifflin County combined for 3 runner ups. Max Murin from CC, AJ Schopp from Tyrone, and Jake Strayer from FH have had some top 8 finishes to be all Americans. I’m sure I’m missing some but that’s just what came to mind.

Definitely forgot about Quentin Wright, good call. I knew LHAC has had some All Americans, but wasn't sure about National Champs.
