Now i am ignorant!!I see how it is. How can you compare NB to other schools. You can WIN games on effort alone but coaching has to be great. Go to a bigger school and it is easier no i don't think so because the competion gets tougher. So you are saying if a school is bigger classification is tougher to beat than a just a bigger school (A-NB vs A-Berlin) it doesn't matter who is bigger but if you say (A-NB vs AAA-Central Cambria) is not ok? It is called a challenge, deal with it
Good points, COACH. However, to add creedence to the claim once in every so many years- Back in the mid-late 90's, FH had an off year, a winning record but no playoff that year, and we got HAMMERED at HOME by Chestnut Ridge. CR had a very good team that year, and possibly we took them for granted, but the fact remained they whipped us. However things went downhill fast for the Lions in the following years, thusly they got out of the LHAC.

ridge and bedford have very similar enrollment numbers but yet bedford does quite well in the LHAC whereas ridge stunk the place up and dropped out....how does the number game come into play there? ridge was AA playing against all AA schools...now they get to play against A schools....oooo theres a challenge, i wish i could be on a 8-2 team playing a classification lower than me rather than a 5-5 team playing the same class.
STRAIGHT
Ridge wasn't the program then that it is now...
I'm done posting tonight in any types of threads except the one about Wade.

Gunner if I'm not mistaken, when CR was is the LHAC it was a big A or a small AA a team. Enrollment has increased significantly in the past few years. As a matter of fact this freshman class has a total of 160 students with 100 of them being boys.

Ridge has always been AA as far as I can remember, unless they were playing up a class, but I don't think so. But they are typically smaller than Bedford. I think Ridge would fare better in the LHAC right now, but not that much better. When they joined before, they were having good seasons until they got in the LHAC. They got hammered. They left, and are having good seasons again. I don't think it's coincidence.
That is a huge freshmen class old school. Where are all these kids coming from?
