congrats ladies, you've worked hard all year to get to this point and you did something that nobody can ever take away from you. so enjoy the moment.

Fannett-Metal (15-8 ) opens the PIAA tournament against Chartiers- Houston (19-4) at 4 p.m. Monday at Bedford High School.

Good luck I will be there to watch most of the game...until practice starts at least.

FM fell to the Bucs 4-1. We had a good bit of trouble with their pitcher. All in all it was a good game. The lady tigers should be extremely proud of their performance this season.

first of all you girls played a great team and they won. but dont hang your heads you achieved more than anyone even yourselves at one time or another thought possible. you won the d5 championship. that in itself is prolly the biggest accomplishment of fannett metal sports. and now every time anyone of you walk into that gym and see that 2004 d5 championship banner hanging on the wall you can say i was apart of that team. congrats ladys. im very proud of all of you
