Yeah, Putin has been doing so well with terrorism. His intel about Iraq and WMD's was wrong, terrorists are giving his country and a terrible time, and now we're to take his word about the terrorists motives. Maybe it's not the terrorists motives, maybe they are his own. Maybe HE wants Bush to stay in office for 4 more years.

I'm no expert on the terrorist mindset, but, in my opinion, they are trying to use a divide and conquer strategy. They're not attacking the USA, they are attacking all around the world in hopes that countries like Spain, take themselves out of the fight.
