For bison1

Post by playbookboy06 »

In honor of bison1 and the thomas-ball days when we read poker books on the bench, I'd like to ask a ? on a ruling. Could the umpire call a strike on a batter that can put his shoulders below his knees?

It is where his strike zone is when he walks into the batters box......I occasionally hunch down a little bit...and they still call it according to your normal stance........but you also could try walking from the dugout to homeplate with your shoulders beneath your knees..........you may look a little funny but as long as you find the answer for bison1 is what counts

walking up to the plate looking like a total fool would be a small price to pay for an on-base-percentage of 1000

Here's another crazy question....What if a batter hits a ground rule double and wants to stay on first? Who says he has to go to second because he may need a single for the cycle. Just another question to ponder :!:

If i were pitching and a guy came up with his shoulders below his knees he would get a fastball to the head. See if he puts his shoulders down there the next time.

Then he'd get first base, which was what he was after in the first place, captain dean.
