Everett Jr Baseball

Post by 1stbaseman13 »

Did anyone go to the everett game? Well i did and i kinda think they are gonna be pretty good. They were down 6-2 in the fifth inning and ending up pulling off the win 7-6 (sign of a good team there.) Hope im not jumping the gun but they looked pretty solid.

Everett's starting pitcher looked bad. The first reliever didn't look too much better. The last pitcher, Tew, looked great and saved the game. Everetts pitching may be in trouble. A good team doesn't give up. It was a good game and effort on Everett's part.

Everett players will win 15 and lose none. Everett coaches will win none and lose 5! The Claysburg loss was a coaching loss.

Cobra, explain how you think it was coaching that lost the game with Claysburg. If you could do a better job than you should have applied for the job. BTW, it's kind of obvious who you know on the Everett team and that you never where a fan of the coaches. I love it when people think that if a team wins then it's the players who won it all, but if a team loses it's the coaches fault. The players are never at fault when they lose.

Everett has completely turned their team around this year. Last year was sad. And the players' attitudes were horrible. They did nothing but screw off at practice. Not all players, but most. And the NEW coach did not have any support from the parents either. It was entirely his fault that they were not winning, at least that is what they thought. It had nothing to do with the players' total disrespect for their coach and the fact that they were not willing to work hard. Again, not all of the players, but MOST. Instead of putting down the coaches, try doing the job yourself and see if you could be better at it. If your not willing to do that, then just encourage the team to do their best. Remember the players attitudes reflect that of their parents and supporters.
