Yesterday afternoon I watched the Penn State vs. Northwestern basketball game. I thought for a while I was listening to an Ohio State game. Brent Musburger spent most of the game talking about Ohio State instead of the game that was actually going on. During the game he talked about how Ohio State is the first school in Big Ten history to win the Football, Mens Basketball, and Womens Basketball Championship in the same year (still trying to figure out how they won football). He also spoke of how Thad Matta is the best coach in the Big Ten and that he is being approached by Indiana to replace Mike Davis. The funny thing is that he graduated from Northwestern so you think that he would biast for Northwestern not Ohio State.

If he is doing play-by-play of a game, I refuse to listen to the sound. I just put the TV on mute. He absolutely ruins the game. I don't see how ABC can consider him one of their top broadcasters.

I must agree with Musberger as being pretty biased, but how can you forget the animated Dickie V?? He praises Duke and the whole ACC like there isn't another conference or solid team out there...Just a though

I have to agree, DUKIE Vitale is much worse than Musberger.

Dick Vitale is a one sport broadcaster. Musberger, unfortunately, is not.

I'm a little settled down on Musberger now because college football isnt on anymore, but during the season I wanted to pull my hair out when he was on. That Arizona State bowl game almost put me in Conemaugh's psych ward.

At least with Musberger, we no longer will have to hear him say:

"A. JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY HAWK!"

Rumer has it that a couple of years ago it took a fleet of police to escort him out of Beaver Stadium after he talked about Joe Paterno being washed up. I guess a couple thousands of fans were waiting on him outside the booth. Have you noticed that he has not been in Happy Valley recently? Maybe that is because he travels with the Ohio State Buckeyes and they only come to Happy Valley once every 2 years.
