District 5 has always done a horrible job keeping people up to date with rankings, results, etc. You would think at some point there would be somebody that would provide current information for people who like to know what's happening within district 5 sports. This is especially true as you get closer to the playoffs. Daily results should be posted. Keep people informed.

Im just that good.
Seriously its a combination of things.I get some results from the Somerset paper, the Chambersburg paper, and from on here.
Then what i do is figure up the records and place the teams.
It might not be exact but i think im very close to what each team has done.

Is the Sideling Hill League teams really that bad that the bottom four teams(everett, nbc, forbes, hyndman) have a combined record 2-27-1? Is Fannett and McConnellsburg the only two respectable teams in this league? What's happening to the talent level in this sport, in this league?

I can't speak for the rest of the teams but as for NBC they are having a rough year because they lost their entire team for last season and when they where beating teams by 6 or more goals the coach felt no need to put the other players in to gain any experience. Its also tough to win when you have to play defense for 80 minutes because the lack of offense forces them to defend their end all game long. I guess sometimes you just have a bad year, it happens...

Unreal, ALLtimeNB. This is Hilarious. You think Coach was "padding stats" by beating teams by 6 and such, hmm, I think not. When you get the chance to have a good year, you should enjoy it.
Here is another point that half of District 5 is oblivious too. 12 teams...How many have football teams to take a majority of thier best athletes? Hmm, exactly half.
1.McConnellsburg 6-0 No Team
2.North Star 5-0
3.Rockwood 5-1
4.Johnstown Christian 6-2 No Team
5.Salisbury 6-2 No Team
6.Fannett-Metal 5-2 No Team
7.Conemaugh Twp. 3-4
8.Berlin 2-5
9.Everett 1-5
10.Forbes Road 0-5-1 No Team
11.Northern Bedford 0-7-1
12.Hyndman 0-6 No Team
Let's see. NBC had a stellar senior class last year both in football and soccer. This year, they honestly don't have that, 5 senior football players and a handful senior soccer players. The football team is sucking all of the dominating Juniors out of the soccer system thou.
It is so easy to blame a coach for losing when he's put in a position, where every game he is getting out powered. But then we find it so easy to give a coach 100% of the credit when a team has a standout year.
Next time, check more than just the record when you judge a coach...look at his resources. I'm just thankful that our soccer team had something to enjoy the last few years, it was the first time NBC Boys soccer was really noticed, and I think that the Coach (and PLAYERS) should be commended on that.
Ya hear?
It's your boy, the X-man.

Well X-man I guess you showed me...oh wait I played for your so called "Coach" and I have to say he wasn't much of one. We had more talent in the teams years ago tha last years team but we had no coach. I agree with your statement that the coach is either the goat or the hero but you honestly think he is that good of a coach. Last week at practice he made the statement, to the entire team, I don't know what else to do. Thats not something you tell your team even if its what you think. I wasn't talking about him padding stats either all I was saying is that he focused so much on the game that he forgot that his future team was sitting on the bench. I have no problem with enjoying a winning season and I give thos seniors all the credit in the world fo what they acomplished. I was only offering an answer to the question. And yes I also agree with your football team assessment, it does help when you don't have to compete for talent, but that is a problem that has always been at NB and will continue to be there. I am glad someone finally responded to one of my comments usually I get nothing or the worst thing that could happen, Gunner weights in.
