Just curious of what your QPA was in college and if you have any advice for college athletes academically? How did you balance your time with athletics and academics? What was your major? Is there any majors out there that should avoid college athletics?

4him,
I think it is very difficult to balance the two but you need very good time management skills and use the tutors that are provided through the universities. You will have tough classes throughout your college career regardless of your major. I majored in Sport Management/Administration. I think there are plenty of majors to stay away from by playing sports but that is all up to you. Sport takes up so much of your time, you need time to just relax and enjoy yourself in the 4 or 5 years at the school. If you have any other questions just let me know??

I feel that I am doing all I can in a day, but yet I feel like it is not enough. Maybe, I am just babying myself. What was a typical college day for you? Inseason? Out of season?
Most of my money comes from my academics. Do you think it is possible to keep a QPA above 3.5 or 3.25 and still accomplish great feats?

4him,
a typical day for me inseason is having classes between 8am to 2pm and then we have meetings that start at 3pm and then practice from 4:30-6:30pm. The freshman have study hall from 7:00pm-8:30pm Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thurs. Then home to study if not a Freshman, hang out with girls, we all need that. then the cycle continues daily. Offseason, it is about the same but we just workout in 6am, 10am, 2pm, or 4pm for 2 hours. My GPA was 3.2 when i graduated and that is good. Always try to get the best GPA because that is key but more important is get your degree. Best of Luck to you
