User. If you are replying to my post I honestly don't have any idea about McCort kids. I am just saying that five from one school is too many. This game is not the championship of the world. Its a fun week and spread the wealth around. Just my opinion.

McCort belongs. All those kids deserved to be there. They play AA competition in the toughest conference in the area... It's the Myersdale thing that gets to me. I have NOTHING against Myersdale or anyone from there, other than they're an "A" team in the WeakPac. That's it.

I'll hold comment one of the Bedford picks...

Correct me if im wrong but they dont just throw 100 nammes into a hat and pick 'em out...it comes down to votes doesnt it? sure i may be a little biased, but all 5 players from mccort deserved it...just because they were on the same teamm shouldnt matter...this thing isnt a team glorification game, its an individual honor....and those 5 individuals deserved it....

i knnow nnothing about meyersdale except that they had a good season..

not everyone can go to the game bedfordqb, even if they are deserving. Sometimes there are just some positions that are stacked with good players, like mlb in jabers case, that coaches are forced to pick kids that will be chosen Im not at all saying Jaber and others arent deserving. I think there are only 5 defensive tackles for 3 positions on the side beford and ridge is on. That is why Vitio was picked, and yes he deserves it.

i hate to defend a bedford person but its like this if kyle davito would have done his job cory arnold would have not gotten blocked every play and would have been one of the premier LB's in the LHAC even more than he is already....the job of the lineman and is to make a pile with the blockers the LB fill the gaps.....and even though keyle davito played selfish football on defense his stats weren't even that good.............

It's an All-Star game, so the best players should go no matter what school you are from. The fact of how many players go from a team is a stupid rule. Myersdale certainly had a good team....but the OG isn't sure they have 5 of the best in the area...

According to last month's Bishop McCort Times it was suggested that the two teams should actually just be composed of the Crusher JV and Varsity squads...and of course #7 from Bedford.

I'm going to spare my opinion on whether #58 was overrated or not...personally I don't think it's even worth discussion.

However, I will comment on how inflated these stats are, because this is a prime example of stat padding.

Assist (of a tackle) happens when two players:
1. Hit at the exact same instant on a ball carrier (may happen twice an entire game...at most!)
2. Player A hits a player, but is not going to bring him down (is being drug along or holding him up), and player B clearly finishes him off as if there was no chance the ball carrier would have been tackled if player B wouldn't of hit the ball carrier. (may happen 5 times a game)

To have 60 true "Assists" is not only unlikely...but it is impossible. Especially from a D-end position.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!
