I think a better question is how did westmont make playoffs??
And an even better question is will el-moldo be in this thread seeing as how the almighty rangers didn't make playoffs or will he hop in just to let us know that mccort being seeded second is highway robbery and that they are over rated?

Simple - by having enough points to earn the #8 seed.

This will be one of the harder roads to the championship that a top seed has had in a while. Westmonts surprising win over CC and CC's turn around shocker over Somerset has to have these Tyrone coaches a bit on edge(If in fact CC makes it to the second round). Tyrone likes playing smash mouth football, and CC and westmont will be able to hang with them. I do not see a Tyrone blowout over westmont and sure as heck not over CC **if both teams PLAY TO THEIR POTENTIAL!**

Well then how good is Tyrone?According to the PAfootballnews.com ranking they are #2?And if Westmont couldnt come within of 5 TD's of McCort?????How in the world can they possibly come out and try to play Tyrone? We might as well give the trophy to the Golden eagles

note the sarcasm i know Westmont fans would love to make this out to me making fun of them but in fact im not and this is a jab to how Tyrone year in and year out they are THE most overrated team in the State....seriously they have reallly really good teams no doubt maybe sometimes they truly are top 5 worthy but these people making out the rankings give them more credit then any other team in PA and i truely forget what topic it was under but someone said nobody in the LHAC would come within 3 scores of Tyrone this season.....we'll see

Crimson, on the subject of the rankings...I agree it's ludacris to have them that high after they not only lost a ton of seniors from last year, but they also lost to McCort the past two years. However, yet again this year, PAfootballnews puts them at preseason 4 or 5. The guy who runs that site is from the ebensburg area...do you think he has it out for mccort? Or maybe the guy has never even seen them play.
(Other than the rankings, PAfootballnews is a great site however.)

How is Tyrone's conference this year? Are the teams weak. i know they certaintly haven't been blowing every team out this year.

And is there any word on Johnny Franco..is he still out for the season?

Does anyone know the last time both Bedford and FH have been out of playoff contention in the same year? Sure one of the two have been out at some point, but for both to be out in the same year. It couldn't have happened all that often, right?

well i dont put too much into consideration for those rankings? It does not bother me that McCort isnt in there....It is a great website but still doesnt diminish the fact that they are highly ranked every year....Johnny Franco broke his leg....dont expect to see him but they have nother 1000 yard back this season

After looking at Bradford's team** and seeing the #s they put up on the ground vs. the air, i was confident mccort would come out with the win. Weve said this before and im saying it again, you have to be multidimensional (unless your wilmington vs BM in the state playoffs!) Either pass to open the run or run to open the pass. Tyrone puts up big numbers runing the ball (not as much as bradford) and less than half that passing. I like mccorts odds vs any team they play in the district, even if it means playing richland again!

Bradford fans were sure to let all the mccort faithful know of their tramatic losses on offense (3rd QB, 2nd or 3rd RB)...but when mccort is dominating the line like they did, it wouldnt matter. Thats what almost all football games come down to...who does the job up front. All season ive been hearing mccorts line is young and inexperienced, yet it is arguable the best line ive seen yet (havent seen CC or Tyrone's)

***Dont forget you do play this week vs Chestnut "s roasting on an open fire" Ridge this week!***
