I've kept clear of this debate on here, but I must say that I was quite intrigued two weeks ago when I was told by a Bishop McCort graduate that he no longer supports the athletic programs there because he is disgusted by the blatant recruiting efforts. Maybe he knows the Reeds? Who knows. Those were his words, not mine. Does that throw him into this ingeniously-named "hater" category?

BM is set at RB, no need (or room) for another. So why would BM recruit him? They wouldnt! Not even out of fear for how "good" westmont will be this year(Westy hasnt beat BM this decade!)

For the hundredth time, it is illegal for a student to transfer for athletic reasons, whether it benefits him later on in life or not. So it doesn't make sense at all. And either does a principal or coach accepting him into a program when he knows that athletics was/is the reason for the transfer.

...Take in to account who you are talking about here. Ken Salem, do you really think he cares that a kids only reason to transfer is football? Yeah right

The class of 2001 football year 2000 did in fact beat mccort 22-0, but that does not change the fact mccort has dominated westy for awhile now and next year does not look to be any different.

I'll agree with ya there, they do look to have a better team but only based off of last year stats and outcomes. Mccort loses a few key players, and you'll never know how the offense will act with a new QB.Westy hasn't had a solid QB in quite a few years and that trend looks to continue this year, but you never know. Swick might have really improved and with the new coaching staff we might be saying different things about the Hilltoppers in the upcoming weeks.Don't count westy out, they do have some other solid players tat will back up Swick, even if he doesn't produce

I hate this though, every Mccort kid comes on here and talks up Mccort, while every Westy kid comes on here and down-talks Mccort, and talk up Westy.
Mccort is not going to kill everyone in every sport, so stop posting that you mccort kids

Post what you know, and what you think. Don't be biased it getting really old. If you think Westy will win against mccort, say that, don't go along with the trend and say mccort will win. Mccort and Westy football game will be tight this year, new coach for westmont really seems like he knows what he is doing, and looks to have a few tricks up his sleeves. The games the past few years have not been close, and have been in the favor of mccort, because westy never had a coach. Sure you can say a few of the past coaches were good, but we all know that they should've have even been considered coaches, they were more like fill-ins until this year whenever they decided to get a good COACH.

-Chaz Merriman made a bad decision, How did he think he would go into mccort and play over Lowry and company? Not going to happen, he left a starting role at Westy, to become a defensive player for mccort. Stupid choice.

-I have a few questions for everyone. Who will be the QB for mccort?
-I talked to a few kids from westy before the start of summer, and there was still some talk on who the QB will be, i know that i said Swick up above, but is he the guy for westy? or will they have Miller or Keklak step in and lead the charge?
-Does anyone know anything on Glennon, does he prefer pass or run?
-and last but not least, a serious outlook on the game, none of that mccort will kill, or westy will kill bull s***, Be serious for once on here, give some good insight
