LHAC Rankings after the 1st half of season
Re: LHAC Rankings after the 1st half of season
Hard to figure out. I think it was Coach Cal who said during the broadcast of the WH-BC game that Westy was one play each game away from 4-0 or at least 3-1. After watching that game, they are one play each game away from 5-0 or at least 4-1. So close, but just not enough each game. Two overtime losses and a last minute winning touchdown called back against BC on a very questionable call. Hopefully these kids can finish out on the better end of these close games, they need to believe they are good, they need to know they are good.kingdomofcrush07 wrote:Biggest disappoint surprise surpirse westmont

Well lets see McCort has played in 2 close games to date.
What has Eric Lowry done in those 2 close games?
Scored 7 TD's. 1 KR 3 rushing 3 receiving 2 Interceptions.
He has about 300 rushing yards on the season
around 200 Receiving yards
10 TD's
2 Int's
Thats a pretty strong case for MVP. He steps up when he needs to.

Mehall has 69 carries for like 637 yards rushing a 9.32 yards per carry average.
11 catches for 232 yards recieving a 21.09 yards per catch.
Sorry McCort fans stats don't lie.

You have to give the nod to Mehall in this case, he is the Most Valuable Player to his team without a doubt, I was looking in the newspaper earlier this week and I believe Mehall had something like 8 carries for 250 yards last week. Mehall is too tough and has more power than Lowry.

Also just a fun fact Mehall had a 88 yard TD called back last week. Justin Myers is a good man though so I didn't mean any harm to CH.

Mehall has the best line and probaly the best QB with the best reciever in the conference. A good line can easily make a back look good especially when you are always worried about the passing game. Please do not list stats from the CH game that only hurts your arguement. Mehall would be #2 in my opinion so far. Lowry and the crushers have 2 D6 titles and 2 lhac titles.
PS There's lies, there's dang lies, and then there's statistics.

Re: LHAC Rankings after the 1st half of season
Correct me if Im wrong, but isnt the point of the Crusher offense to comepletely smash the defensive hopes of keying on any one player? Ill take the Trio of RBs over one player any day. Sure they wont get any glory for it, but winning a championship is more satisfying than any glory one player can receive. But if you want to talk MVP, it has to be Ramires. 1400 yards passing, 14 (incl. 2 rushing tds), 6 ints would like to see a higher completion percentage. Air Jordan only had 700 yards passing 6 tds and 3 ints in his senior year at this point last season.Where would Richland be with out him?

Re: LHAC Rankings after the 1st half of season
FH does not have the best line in the conference at all. And you people asked for the MID-WAY MVP. Why does everything come around to Lowry has 2 LHAC Titles and 2 D6 championships. I didn't know you could win any of those 5 games into a season. Let alone win them both twice. WOW. This kid is special.
Defense is right winings championships as a team and not an individual is th total ultimate goal one could have. Also agree with the Ramirez kid. You could mak astrong case for him being mid season MVP.
I do no want to hurtanyones feelings when I say this also. FH only has 100 yards less than BM on the ground. The three Muskateers are getting chased down by the Lone Horsemen.

Ive said this before. Lowry gets the crapiest play calls of any RB in the confrence.
His carries come from the Wing postion.
Why? Hes versitile. he makes plays out of nothing and hes mccorts best receiver as well.
and unlike Mehall he plays on both sides of the ball. and is the most dangerous special teams player in the league too.
But its all in terms of what the most valuable player means?
For those who say is it really on value to their team....well
IF Mehall is taken out of the lineup Forest Hills is a very 1 dimensional team.
But if Lowry is taken out the lineup. McCort losses their best Offensive and Defensive player. Sure they got Wadley and Seidel too but Lowry is the best of the 3 and hes a better receiver and is more versitle of all 3.Best D back in the lineup as well.
MVP's play best when your team needs it most and like i said earlier in McCorts 2 games that were settled by less then a TD.....He has 7 TD's and 2 Int's! He comes to play in big games my friends
And in terms who is the better player not just of value...Im going to stick with Eric but Scott is a pretty dang good football player himself. Definatley top 2 in the league.

Clever! Dont get me wrong, Mehall is awesome, but you better do your research next time because the Three Horseman have 1015 yards and 114 points (Wadley was out week 1 & 2) while the Lone Horseman has 637 and 66 pts.AmusedChatter wrote:The three Muskateers are getting chased down by the Lone Horsemen.
