Crimson09Crazy: Did you ever think that all the playoff line-ups might have been affected by kids leaving public schools for private ones? So some public schools might have had MORE of a chance to be in the playoffs if kids wouldn't have deserted their teammates and went private. So even though alot of private schools did not survive the finals, they most certainly affected public schools who lost players for this year. For example, if Merriman stays at Westmont, Westy could have made the playoffs and changed the scheme of things in District 6AA. So just because private schools did not go deep into the playoffs, they easily could have changed what happened after the regular season was over.

That is not the point. The point is teams from other districts are good enough to overcome obstacles....While here in D6 we like to complain when a public school doesnt suceed. I couldnt care at all that Portage kids all come from Portage and their home grown nice story....and all that. the other remaining 7 teams all came from one public school district as opposed to
Bishop McCort which is a collection of players that strech across 5 or 6 districts. And yet those teams were able to defeat these Satanic forces otherwise known as catholic schools.

What i am saying is...Why can teams from other districts do it? McCort is not unstopable. It is not this incredibly imoveable
force. The past 3 years have been nice but as you and your Ranger fans like to point out...McCort isnt a true dynasty,because of their lack of sucess in the state level. McCort has 4 district championships to its name. Tyrone Bellwood Forest Hills to name a few have more. They are public school kids from one district that have been able to defeat McCort. All I am saying....People love to point out when a catholic school has sucess and wins cause so they can call it cheating. But it doesnt happen all the time. When a public school wins nothing happens. When Guilfoyle and Carroll sucked the past few years nobody cared. For people to say that some of these small public school teams should forfeit to prove a point is outrageous. Thats cowardly and a weak message you are trying to pull....Why? Because my point keeps being proved that public school teams are having more sucess....So by complaining about really in my mind is just saying your team isnt that good...we need an excuse.

Sorry moldy thats the way i see it....if you look at it logically it makes pretty darn good sense what i am saying. teams locally just like to complain.

You saw the example of how Merriman transferring to McCort may have cost Westmont a shot at the district 6aa playoffs. How many close games did Westmont lose this season? When a good player deserts a public school and goes private, it effects EVERYTHING. A private school becomes better, a public school slips backwards. So again, even if a private school doesn't make it deep into the playoffs, EVERYTHING can be adversely affected in that district. So saying that other districts handle kids transferring to private better than we do is a joke. And what about the Bealonis kid. If he stays at LV, then LV may have had a better seed and would not have had to play BM right away. Would they have beat them? Maybe not, but the entire playoff scenario can be changed by just a couple of kids leaving public schools and going private.

What about the 2 RB's that transfered away from Pittsburgh Central Catholic?
Suppose one of them stays there....They probably have a better offense and may have managed to beat McKeesport....It happens on both sides of the spectrum....all i am saying is....in D6 we complain when a public doesnt win and call catholic school cheaters....when that same public school has the exact same opprutunity. And transfers go both ways. Even public to public...Beaver Falls QB is from Blackhawk suppose he doesnt go to BF....They might not be the top seed...that affected the playoff race as well.

The nest three weeks their schedule is going to look like this.
1) Steelton Highspire, #1 Team in the state, atleast 5 D1 prospects.
2) Southern Columbia, has everyon forgotten about this team in like the past 6 years 5 state championships
3) Clariton, for the state championship, has let up 36 points ALL SEASON and scored almost 550. They have let up 36 points in the WPIAL.

I am not drinking the Haterade but the future is bleak for McCort. I personally feel the move to A was a horrible decision I do not see them every winning a state championship or even coming close.

The situation with a teacher pulling her students from FH should be kept OFF of this site. That is not what happened or anything close to it. end of story
