You're right. His play in the AFC Championship game that year and the game against the Colts up to the tackle weren't spectacular. My how easily we forget all the good things he's done. I guess the 50 wins just happened by him managing the game too. You're all insane. He's the youngest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl. He owns the record for consecutive wins to start a career. He's the only QB in NFL history to win 50 games in 5 years. Keep saying he isn't worth his pay. They've structured it so that it can be renegotiated and make it better off for the team down the road.

If he comes out and single-handidly wins the next 4 games I bet you'll be singing his praises up and down. We should be so fortunate that the Steelers have finally drafted a quality quarterback and a WINNER. That's all he does. Win games on the field.

Peyton Manning who everyone says is the best QB of this generation and is nearing the backside of his career has won 1 superbowl. Ben who is remember folks just now entering what should be his prime already has one and has a pretty dang good chance of getting his second this year. People tend to forget that the Steelers were ending the roughest stretch of schedule in decades going into Tennessee and they played the worst game they coule possibly play and still were in the game in the 4th quarter. People that always have to point the finger at 1 particular person in losses just prove to me their lack of football knowledge because so much of the game is set up by one person doing this allowing someone else to do that.

There are about 7 or 8 good QB's in this league right now and we have one that is 26 years old but yet you b!tch. Ask the Lions, 49ers, Vikings, Texans, Seahawks, ect. if they would take Ben for 27 mil a year and they would say YES in a heartbeat.

Ham you hit the nail on the head in four weeks when Pittsburgh is on the way to the super bowl everyone will be on here talking about how good Ben and this team is.

It doesn't matter who it is if the line is bad, and the line is bad. So what's the argument?

My own gripe with him is that he tends to hold it too long. Other than that, he's excellent.

I have and never will praise Ben, I think he is average and always will be, and he has as much personallity as the steel street drain he blasted his face off of. We act like he personally won 50 games. He has had the luxary of always being in games because of his defense and early in his career the run game. I mean in his career the defense i dont think has every been outside the top 5. So how many games did he toss the ball for 350-400 yards plus, and actualy he himself win the game. He had a good game last year against a Ravens team with 3 rookies playing and no Ed Reed. Bens play is and always will be average. While he does have some good games from time to time, he is not a great qb. But I do tend to agree that what hurts him is he holds that ball for way too long.

If you want a QB that throws the ball for 350-400 yards find a new team because at the most we throw the ball 30 times a game. Your clueless.

That is my point he does not win the games. He makes plays no doubt but he is not a throw around the yard guy who by himself wins games

Not true, chico. He's made plenty of great plays for them.

Ben sure won todays game, or it was a perfect example of him as a game manager, 16 for 27 or something like that for 186 with a touchdown, he sure is worth 36 mill, he did throw a good block, i would say steelers win with defense number one and then grinding number 2

If the line gives him time, he'll make things happen its as simple as that. The line was top notch today, and they performed spectacular.

He didn't make a TD drive at the end of the first half? He didn't convert a 3rd and 8, 3rd and 11 and a 3rd and 7 on an 8 minute drive to start the 2nd half and take the air out of the ball? You're a clown.
