Mentioning Pitt and Penn State in the same sentence when it comes to men's basketball is illegal. PSU's men's basketball team is a disgrace, and has been for years.

Penn State has not been in the NCAA tourney consistantly! What they made it to the sweet 16 that one time with the Crispen bros?? Maybe 2 times but not sure. Big deal. Pitt has been one of the most consistant programs in the country over the past years. And yea they may get bounced in the tourney but so do all the other 63 teams at some point throughout. Where has psu been all these years besides sitting at home watching. Give it up. Pitts bball is better than most programs, especially psu's. Grow up and admit it.

N lions & hammy - if you dont think Pitt ball is anything special then your ignorance is showing. No matter how much you hate Pitt, If you KNOW ANYTHING about the game of basketball or sports for that matter, you have to acknowledge they are a very good basketball team, regardless of your personal vendeta against them.

If Blair plays the rest of the season like he played the last game, Pitt will more than likely be a Final Four team. I haven't seen too many teams on Pitt's level this season. UNC, Duke, and UCONN are the only teams that I can think of that are on Pitt's level at this point in the season. You could throw in a team like Wake Forest, too. This is the best Pitt team I have seen.
