Chops or anyone...besides the "Any given day" possibility does either CT or Winber (just because they are the favorites it looks like) have enough to break the D-5 drought? Does anyone honestly and without bias believe any of these teams could surprise or straight up beat the WPIAL champion. As I have said before D5 seems to be getting closer to that breakthrough to states...Who is better Saylor or D'Carrion? are they different running styles?

This is a tough question to answer because Sayler is put in a different situation than D'Carrion. First, off D'Carrion had an amazing line. Sayler's line is ok, but just so small. (They do a great job though for how small they are) I think you put Sayler in D'Carrion's shoes they match up the same. D'Carrion is stronger, but Sayler is shiftier. Both of them have top-end speed. I also think Sayler has better hands than D'Carrion. Sayler still has one more year also, don't forget that. It feels like he has been playing forever since he was starting since his freshman year. That's a tough debate though because Sayler is a dual threat player while D'Carrion was just a running back. Anyone else like in this little debate?

I'm still kicking North Star in the BUTT for the way they played two years ago. They had the W.P.I.A.L. team beat & let it slip on by... This year there's not even a (ANY~GIVEN DAY)... Have you seen The Clairton bears team this year yet? Whew !!!

They are bigger & faster than last years team who Windber stood up too (rather well), for three quarters. This year, you could combine Twp, Windber, & throw in Berlin & Meyersdale all together & they would not have enough horses to beat these guys..

What's scary about Clairton is, they are all (Home Boys) from with-in their own community. There's no transfer / recruited players like the Catholic Schools are accused of having all the time...

You have my condoleneces when you do get to play them...

The Chops....

D'Carrion was a man among boys. He was stronger, faster, bigger than Saylor is. I would say even though D'Carrion's line was better. I would give the advantage to D'Carrion.

Faster? Sayler is going to break everyone of his records in track. Bigger? D'Carrion was 180 lbs his senior year. Sayler will put that on next season. Stronger I will give to D'Carrion. He was a weight room rat. D'Carrion's line was phenominal. 2 of his linemen had nice scholarships to places especially 1 from Bucknell. Ask Hank about this, his brother was amazing along with the other linemates. Sayler's line has 2 kids 230 lbs, and the rest 180's and 190's. Don't get me wrong they play with a lot of heart, but they just are small. D'Carrions line had 2 6'7" 250 lbs, and the other 3 in the area of 220-250 lbs and all were athletic and could move.

I love the support you give your brother. It's so cute. I mean i love my brother too. All you do is complement him saying thinking hes the best thing that has happened to berlin. I mean he is real good, tough kid. But Im sorry there has been many better players to come out of Berlin, D'Carrion being one of them. Your saying your brothers line is full of 190 lb kids, and two over that. Will look at Windbers offense line the past couple years. They have maybe had 2 kids over 200 pounds and the rest around 190 and 180 pounds. So you can stop trying to help your brothers cause in being better than d'carrion, because its not going to work.

Don't matter how big of a line you'll have on your team. As long as your back has the vision and anbilities to make a play from nothing you'll do fine. The team as a whole always matters, but skill players play a major role.

i agree with St. Lewis, the size of your line dosent matter as much as people think. if your line gets the first initial push off the snap, the back has enough time to make a play.

You give me two lines with all things equal, one weighs 215 end to end and the other is 260 end to end, I know who I would take.

When did I ever say he was the best thing that has happened to Berlin? I don't give a crap about Windber okay? All you do is switch a subject and end up talking about Windber.
