If you had a voucher systym the public schools would end up like most of the private schools and the only ones attending the games would be the students and their parents. That's why revenue for the PIAA is down the last couple years. With the addition of the private schools from Phil. and the sucess of the private schools, especially in the lower classification attendance at the playoff games are down. If this trend continues the Piaa will have to charge a large entry fee or go bankrupt.
Where do you come up with this?? People on here need to research further than googling "vouchers"

I'm sure the "PIAA revenue being down" has nothing to do with the continuous decreasing of population in PA...a few thousand less fans doesn't make that large of a difference for the ENTIRE PIAA

Just go to the Basketball state finals and check the number of fans in attendance there from the private schools then check the number of fans in attendance from public schools. When a public school gets in the playoffs the entire community attends the games not so for private schools. If you don't think the attendance revenues is a concern to the Piaa ,call them , they sent out a press release a couple of months ago addressing the subject.

Interesting posts,

If the PIAA is losing money, perhaps instead of looking for ways to generate more, they should look at ways to spend less...maybe that would be a good idea for all forms of government.

When I am talking about vouchers, I am talking about much more than athletics.

I am simply saying that competition makes everyone better.
