Things I Learned Today Watching Pitt.

Post by The Ancient Enemy »

1. Matt Millen is as bad as advertised. No wonder the Lions were so awful when he was the GM.

2. Matt Millen: "Dion Lewis was the 150th ranked RB in the state of New Jersey alone."

RIVALS:
===========
Dion Lewis
3-star RB
Position Ranking: 20
State: 14
HS GPA: 2.5

Assphincter says what?????

SCOUT:
============
Dion Lewis
3-star RB
Position Ranking: 70

3. Commentator: "These Panthers are used to playing in championships."

4. Commentator: "Wannstedt was a great coach for the Bears and Dolphins."

5. Matt Millen alluded that Ray Graham was another "diamond in the rough" like Lewis. Let's take a look.

RIVALS:
==========
4-star RB
POSITION RANK: 11
STATE: 5

SCOUT:
=========
4-star RB
POSITION RANK: 34

The point is not that these kids were overrated/underrated, it is that Matt Millen is an idiot. 4-star RBs are not hidden gems.

More to come, I am sure.

Did Chip Kelly just get upset with his kicker for missing a 55 yard field goal in the open end of Heinz field in the snow? I think the NFL record in the open end is like 48 yards.

Very poor decision there to try a field goal in the open end instead of a hail marry. There was no chance of making that field goal on a sunny 60 degree day let alone today.

Deon Lewis is one of the best running backs i have seen in some time. Cincy's run defense is horrid, but he makes plays out of nothing at times and always seems to get 2 or 3 more yards than he should.

Cincy will get their @ss handed to them in their bowl game. They will either be playing Tebow or Mark Engram. Neither one of which they will stop. Does any team in the big east know how to play defense? I thought the Arena league was extinct?
