McCort recruits for athletic reasons first. End of Discussion.all this bs about faith and academics is all but true. I meen sure some kids truely go for faith and academics...meening the non-athletes. McCort does have good academics and all but some public schools work just as hard and are just as good. But again McCort recruits athletes from other schools and tries to cover it by saying its academics.

Why does everyone hate McCort so much? Even when they are the only local team left in the state playoffs, people cant wait to see them lose. Everyone, and McCort fans alike, need to grow up and get past this stupid stuff. I know McCort does not recruit. No school administrator has ever contacted a public school kid or parent and said listen...whether it be academics, athletics or faith...come to our school. Its superior to all others. Personally, I think all of the people who hate on McCort are jealous. Everyone who goes there takes pride in what they do and about their school. Everyone who goes to McCort thinks that they are in the best place....so what? If all other schools in the area had this type of passion and spirit for their schools then the area would be in a lot of a better place down the road. I come on here and see grown men talking badly about teenagers who are just trying to live their lives. Grow up. I congratulate McCort on all their success,If people hate you...you must be doing something right. As for all the other schools...and all the McCort haters will have a field day on this...why dont you strive to be somewhat like McCort? Maybe you will be in the position they are in every year someday.

Fairweatherman, This kind of crap makes me sick.First of all it is not just a McCort issue, it is a public/private issue.Second the we don't recruit bull##@% gets really old.Own up.Third the superior mentality is sickening,what you don't think that anyone else puts in the work that McCort or the other privates do,again bull@@#$.No other schools take pride in their programs the way McCort does? Come on get off your high horse.What people are complaining about is making a flawed system fair.The reason McCort is in the position that they are in every year is because they sit in little "A" in the playoffs .When clearly they draw kids from enough schools to be a least AAA and probably AAAA.Answer me this question do you think the McCort coaching staff would have as much success at say williamsburg or say claysburg.I don't think so.If you don't have the parts the motor doesn't run,even if you are the best mechanic in the world!

You just proved my point. You apparently an old guy yet you get so worried about a highschool and their football team? Dont you have more important things to do? First off, maybe I didnt make myself clear, which I apologize for, but I am trying to say everyone gets mad about McCort people taking so much pride in their school and thinking they are the best. So what? All schools should be like that. Why don't we attack other schools for thinking they are the best? Because to be successful thats what you have to do. But none of you one track minded individuals could ever fathom McCort succeeding. Second, whatever you guys want to think...but McCort MOST CERTAINLY IS single A. That is a fact that you cannot even try to deny lol...its just there. Im sure you are one of these make a catholic league individuals but heres a scenario...in Texas there is a catholic league. There is a school there that was in this league and overwhelmingly beat all the teams in it. There was no challenge at all. They then moved back into the public league and are making playoffs by winning close games. You are saying you think these kids should be in a non-competitive league because they go to a private school and not learn the valuable lessons football teaches you? This catholic league argument is just a punishment for all the people who play for these teams. Think of the kids for once...not the high school you support who never is good, not the people or administrators who you dislike. In the big picture, ITS ALL ABOUT THE KIDS. Not old guys like you...

Yes lets think about the kids for once.Making things fair for everyone not just the privates is the right thing to do.No McCort is not" A", sorry its a glich that needs addressed.You have no boundaries at McCort the other schools do.You get to field an allstar team year in and year out.This isn't just an football issue its an all sports issue.Facts are facts and privates win more than half of the state championships in A and AA divisions they shouldn't be in.You never did answer the question of how well salem and company would do at a true small school .I can tell you ,not near as good as when you are pulling in all kind of talent from the lhac and westpac.You fairweather are obviously a McCortster,fair in your eyes is to give the privates an edge.In reality it's not fair and you know it!
