ugh same as it was in football. some freshman from shade getting on here and talkin up the 'big and bad players' on his team this year. Why don't you just sit quietly on the bench and get ready for the downhill slide they are going to take from last year's season. im not saying they wont be competitive, but nowhere near what they were last year.

Shade lost the majority of its team, four key players, and the only starter remaining is Tyler Smith and I think he was on the outs in football because of a poor attitude. Shade cannot be succesful if the team is counting on a player to lead who has a poor attitude.

It isn't unheard of for younger players to take the role of leaders on a team. As for Shade this year, Hart and Gibbons, juniors on the team, will be the leaders that the fresh + sophs look to.

Tyler Smith has a great attitude and worked his butt of this offseason for his senior year. Coach Boley had the bad attitude and made his players develop this by telling bullcrap promises and lieing to the kids. Smith led his team in all categories and Boley benched him because he said he wouldn't block which his whole team couldn't do. Boley had his favorites and smith wasn't one of them! Smith did everything before season for this coach and got promised the world only to have the carpet pulled out fro underneathe you. Smith is showing he is the best player in the west-pac and somerset county in hoops as he collected mvp honors in the elite boswell tourney by carrying his team to the title over double a laurel highland forests hills and somerset. He is a great leader and has a great attitude and works harder than any kid in the area which is why he has college coaches wanting him. Whoever started this rumor about his attitude being so bad , why don't you be a man and say who you are on here instead of telling people lies about the nice boy and being a coward starting false accusations!!!!

Don't know much bout what went on with football but Smith is doing a nice job so far this year for Shade's basketball program.

Thanks for the complement on Smith. He wasn't in the homer city tournament because a wrestler was pushing him in school for days threatening him and ty smacked him in the mouth when the kid thru him into the lockers and got a 3 day suspension. The wrestlers girlfriend likes tyler and flirts with him and he was jealous and backed ty into a corner and ty hit him a couple times in the mouth!!! Shades football coach played headgames with him all season,so he wouldn't play ty on offense in some games which we got killed 40-0. then he would put ty back in on offense and ty would score and run for 100 yards and get benched the next game again! He led the team in tds, receptions and yards and only played offense 5 times this football season. We won 3 of the 5 games ty was in and never scored the ones he was out. That is why ty had a bad attitude because he wanted his team to win and he knew he had to be in there to help, but boley kept pulling him every other game telling him he stunk and was a sissy! He also was top in the area in interceptions on defense. The coach told other player that were seniors that he didn't like ty and wasn't picking him for any awards or lantzy game, and the seniors told ty this. Now you all know why ty was confused in football. A 4 year letter winner leading his team as a freshman and getting benched by a new football coach his senior year and a guy that loved him before the season who called him every day, that ende up abusing his mind mentally.
