Psycho
Please send me links on your Outcom based info. It is seriously flawed.
On the other hand, I like you miss the old JHS "Pride and Tradition" You played football and Basketball back in the day, so you above all know what it was all about.

Re: You Heard it Here First...
KMR to answer your question about would I rather coach at jtown or altoona I think johnstown would have more upside. The reason I say that is they are a bigger school in a smaller school conference.I also think if someone comes in there and organizes and promotes football they could build tradition and maybe get some of the transfers(McCort) to stay at JHS.It's a big job for someone but the right motivated person could probably do it.Who that is I don't know.Contrary to what some may say johnstown has its share of athletes and with the right coaching they could probably be a competitive team in AAA. By the way psycho I did my playing in the late 70's and early 80's and I don't recall the stories of the glory days of Jtown!
Re: You Heard it Here First...
Growing up I heard more about J-town vo tech having a great tradition more then j town high.
Re: You Heard it Here First...
I dont know if Sheridan is the answer. Nothing against him, but BM had a ton of seniors, a huge line and a great back. A hard-nosed coach without flexibilty will not work at Johnstown. If he is flexible, then maybe he would be ok.

Just heard it this morning that Penna Jr. will be the next coach at Johnstown. Who will be taking over at Ferndale?

Wow, that's funny! I didn't know that Johnstown hired a new coach? I'm sure the Tribune would have wrote an article on this if they did!!!! They usually post in the paper when the next board meeting is and havent seen the post.
ANother funny this is that I drove by the other day and saw Penna and the coaches at Ferndale. Unless, it is the truth and he has a contract for Johnstown then dont stir the pot. You know the kids look at this site and why destroy a program because you 'heard" a rumor. Best of luck next year to the yellow jackets.

Is coach Kevin a teacher at Johnstown? Did he officially resign? I read the thread but really didn't see where he actually resigned.
