Can't agree more on the championship game. It should be a good one. Carom is right 10 players from these two schools have played together for MT Cat basketball during one season or another. They know each other very well and have become great friends off the court. They went 9-1 playing together in Altoona during the fall league. Only lose came to Tussy MT by 2. You won't want to miss this one!!!!!!!!

thats pretty good. who all played in the Altoona league?

I think match up problems will be a key for both teams tomorrow

thats very good that these players played together and it has shown as all of them look good. but today's game is going to be a very good one. who knows who is going to bring home the West-Pac title. Shade has many weapons as do North Star. North Star came into the season well under the radar. they played all season and went out and took the West-Pac North. Shade played great this season also and are coming in to the game on a very big win streak that i'm not aware of. they both are playing good ball and i can't wait till tipoff

North Star played very well and so did Shade. Kenny Gibbons had a great game. His first half preformance is how they went into halftime with a lead. He is one heck of a ballplayer. He wasn't scoring that much in the second half as North Star had Walker cover him and he did a good job. Tyler Smith had the worst game i've ever seen him play. We all know he is a good player but he just wasn't feeling it tonight and i don't think he made a field goal. Who knows what the outcome would have been if he was on or at least hitting some shots. Jake Fleegle played a very good game also. He lead his team to the victory with clutch free throws towards the end of the game. He made a strong case for county MVP today along with Gibbons. Strasiser rebounded very well and him and Walker played strong and understund their role today. They didn't fold under the pressure like i thought could happen since they are only freshmen. Congragulations North Star in the win

Yup Ns won, Fleegle Strasiser and Walker were to much for Shade. Tyler Smith had a horrible game he couldn't hit anything, Kenny played very well but he couldn't do it by himself.

Smith has a bad game and it is his only one this year and he is out of the m.v.p. race? I don't think so and you are lucky he was off or it would have been a different outcome. He hits his 3's and lay-ups and it would have been alot different. Congrats to n.s. they played a good game and zimm. hit some clutch 3's along with bloom playing a nice game. N.s. big 3 had a very good game and loya coached a nice game. N.s. played good defense, but smith had the open shots and just missed!!! Oh well everyone is human!!! No excuses here, n.s deserved it today. Now you see what smith means to the shade team!! When he has a bad game like this, they lose. He will bounce back and I can guarantee that! Districts is what counts not west-pac! You don't go any further from the west-pac! Just remember who got the m.v.p. in the boswell tourney with all the same players having the same chance!!! Don't count smith out just yet! The voting doesn't go by 1 game!!!

You're right. Tyler is a very good player and is running for the MVP of Somerset county. i was just saying that Kenny and Fleegle had great games. Tyler will bounce back because he is a ball player. He knows that he is better than what he played today as do we all. I would have liked to see him drive more though to try to get to the line to try and get into a rhythum. Shade does need him to score to help them win. He just needs to keep his head up and play hard for the playoffs. But congrats to North Star for winning it and playing great D
