Hard to say that Berlin wont be good...so i'll say it watch out for them. For as big as Alex Will is he has some speed to him. He ran a fast part on the 400m relay, Ian is just way to good an athlete, and I'm pretty sure that the defense stays pretty much the same. I do like windber's chances tho this year. Alot of kids do have experience playin in the games and i think will have an easy time stepping in to a starting roll if they make it. Maybe this year it won't come down to a game of inches for Windber.

Uhm, Ridge? Windber played them first last year. It was a pretty easy win, in my opinion. They aren't bad but NS should run right over them.

People who thinks Portage is gonna struggle are delusional, even on a down year they will compete for at least 2nd or 3rd no way they miss playoffs and I wouldn't rule them out for the WestPac, yeah they're losing a lot of key players but they still got some talented kids coming up and their defense is still going to be above average. I mean people are acting like anyone was even close to Portage last year. They trashed Windber, trashed Berlin, nobody even came within 30 points, their backups were beating up on the 2nd and 3rd teams in the conference so all i'm saying is don't count them out.

My bad, you're right Township was the only team that really gave them a challenge. Other than that the rest of the conference pretty much sucked, not trying to sound like an asshole or anything but it's true. I don't know the exact numbers but other than the Township game Portage outscored their opponents by what, 50 points a game? I'm not even acting like they're going to rule the conference again all I'm saying is don't count them out for the title.

Portage has more of a chance than Ct, this year, is my opinion. Just saying.

Although, I beg to differ. There is no way that that game against Windber could classify as having "trashed" them. The beginning of the game really brought the guys down and by the end of the game they were strong. I have to say that they coulda won that if people weren't so against Windber and set in their minds that they are tired of Windber winning, which is a joke because the refs. are more than a little biased when it comes to that and just make bad calls in games like the Portage/Windber or CT/Windber games.

And besides, they won't "trash" Windber OR Berlin this year

It's a 3 team battle for the conference title: Berlin Windber Portage.
Berlin doesn't play Portage this year.
Windber plays Portage vice versa.

North Star is the sleeper in my mind.....

I think the last week's game Berlin @ Windber will decide the conference championship UNLESS Portage beats Windber. Then if Berlin beats Windber, Portage and Berlin split title.

Last weeks game will most likely be the highlight of the season for the team that wins. Speaking of the Berlin team. How is Ians ankle coming along? looks fine running on it.
