will Roberts and Gulibon be at the same weight? That will be a couple nice matches at Regionals and Hershey.

ya i think they will both be at 112 so that will be a great sw regional final, and gibbons is def top 8 in the state he has to go and prove it now, he has choked the last 2 trips to states, he has got to be one of the most talented wrestlers ive seen but he mentally cant handle it sometimes

Agreed.....he is a great kid, but he needs to get focused to get over that hump at States. He has the talent to be a 3x placewinner, but things have not worked out for whatever reason. I think he is really focused this year, (but I wish he'd put more time on the mats rather than playing football, and waiting until Nov to get into wrestling shape).

I'll be pulling for him to place high this year.

i 100% agree with this the reason he hasn't placed i don't think he can mentally bridge that gap, i mean wrestling is just as much mental as it is physical.

Bedford is probably glad he is playing football. He might have a better chance to play football in college than wrestling. I know he makes a lot of tackles and is one of Bedford's best players.

He might have been better served to stay at 160 last year. He had a win over the third place finisher but he dropped hoping for a better shot at winning states. I think he is fine mentally. Lets not forget he lost his first match to the eventual runner-up and his second match was against the #1 ranked wrestler who got upset in the prelims.

He has potential to finish very high. I also think he is more suited as a colege wrestler then football player. He has added alot of strength it looks like to me. I think this is the first time he has put much time in, in the weight room. Either way he will be one of the top area wrestlers. The kid can wrestle for days and conditioning won't be a problem. He may need to push the action more and be more aggressive and physical. But I don't think I have ever seen him tired.

He is a good football player, but a great wrestler. He has a MUCH better chance going to the next level in wrestling rather than football.
