I couldn't agree with you more. Who wants to roll around in spandex with another dude? Wrestling very well may be the stupidest sport around. I would rather watch any girls sport over wrestling.

I'll take Scotty Lewis over any kid that played on Forest Hills defense and wrestled, and he played basketball.

Crimson go tell any wrestler that his sport is gay and then I will help reset your nose. Crimson have you played football or wrestled? If you haven't then you probably shouldn't comment. I played football, I grappled, and I breifly played basketball.

Please don't talk about Basketball shape and football shape, and wrestling shape. All are completely different. Wrestling in my opinion has great benifits to a football player. You learn about leverage, you train for strength and muscle indurance. You run your A$$ off. What is a take down, but a tackle on the mat? Some of the best football I have played against wrestled example, Terrible Terry Tate, and most of Tyrone. There is no doubt that wrestling would make McCort football better. Buy some mats Ken.

How many of you out there are MMA fans? I would wager a fair amount. Is MMA just a bunch of gay guys rolling around? Or is it a sport, in which some of the toughest human beings alive wear spandex and beat the H#ll out of each other.

briefly played Basketball? Come on,the Rockets doesn't count as briefly playing Basketball.

I'll take Hockey,Basketball, Football, and Baseball ANY day over rolling around on the ground. Differs in opinions I guess.

Do you even like McCort anymore? I sense bad blood.

Not bad blood. Simply clarity of vision.

You forget that I transferred in. We also know that if I actually enjoyed basketball for even a moment, I could have played at McCort. I enjoyed and still enjoy throwing weights around so much more.

I digress. Have you played football, or wrestled? I think no. So to say that one correlates more than the other is difficult for you to say, yet you still say it. You will take these sports, because you have limited interaction with wrestling. I'm sure you have seen a match or two, but that is where your insight starts and ends. I am sure that dribbling a basketball correlates to dribbling a football? No, no, I got it, often when you play football you break a press. No, No, wait, wait, passing a basketball is like passing a football, no that isn't right either. Oh I got it, trying to throw another person to the mat, almost like throwing a person to the turf. Hand fighting on the mat for better position, a lot like hands fighting in the trench. You are right basketball is a lot of foot work, but I guess wrestling isn't.

differs in opinions, I guess.
I may have caught a match on tv for a minute when a guy for Pitt was in for the national championship.

Well obviously if my opinion on wrestling is wrong, yours on Basketball is equally as wrong.
We'll agree to disagree.

Crimson, I understand it's hard for your 'type' to get past looking at the singlets and 'junk'...but there is actually way more to the sport than all that! Maybe if you would look at it from the perspective that it is by far the most physically taxing sport there is. Perhaps you are the one that is gay for not looking past the 'gay' aspect...

Ehh, Silly argument. If you like it, you like it my friend. not gonna pay me to watch it. Like I said I'll take a sport with some action and excitement.
