Hendershot has many district titles and beats shade almost anytime shade plays them. He upsets big schools alot. This year they only lost to tussey by a couple points both times. They didn't have the talent that shade did, and they beat shade by 13. Read the tribune and it will tell you of hendershots latest district titles, and he has been at s.f. for years! Believe me it isn't soley based on this game. I am not that dumb and a bandwagon jumper. He's been around for years. Capeesh must have died, because he hasn't been posting lately????

Pete, I believe Hendershot has won 6 District 5 "A" Championships in the past 9 years. Many of those years he did it with teams that were not always the most talented or athletic, or with teams that were not suppose to make it that far or have as good as season and records as they did in those years. In most of those Championship seasons, Hendershot's teams were the underdogs, who most people gave no chance, just like in last nights game with Shade. But he always finds a way to get S.F. to the District Championship game and always finds a way to win them as well. So I believe there are facts here to prove he has won more than one "big"game in his time and deserves to be put into the conversation as Best Coach in Area.

The guy does seem to win games but I can't stand to watch his team play because all they do is pass the ball around for a minute and a half before they shoot, and if u get down on them they will run the clock out from the first quarter to the last. High school needs amebic clock!

Maybe he just realized Shade isn't unstoppable and decided to stop.

S.F. may pass it around and take a mintue off the clock but they do it effectively and win ball games. Yea I agree a shot clock may be needed in high school basketball, but until there is one then use the clock to your advantage like Hendershot did last night. The example of Hendershot running offense like that last night and using clock is another example of why he is a very good coach. He had a game plan and used it to perfection and it paid off.
