Saints split w/ Meyersdale, W 1st game 7-2, L 2nd 8-1. Play tonight @ 6 @ Nanty-Glo. Already have 4 games to make up.

Bedford is 2 and 0 with wins against Patton 8-6 and Westmont 16-6. It would be nice if they would update the website.

@ NG, the Saints were up, by my reckoning, 10-2 going into the bottom of the 6th. NG scored 4 runs, got their 3 outs, and UMP Mike Bryja said "That's it". Game called due to darkness. It was about 8:40 at the time. I'm assuming both managers agreed to end the game, because today's MIRROR had a final 7 inning score of 12-5. Don't know where they came up with the score, but if both managers agreed to end it, why the need to put 2 zero's in the box score? To make it look "official"? IDK.

Portage is 3-1. Maul has started two of those wins so he must have been deemed not ready for AAABA competition, which obviously makes Portage dangerous.
