Shade has a very easy schedule this year and I think can win atleast 4 games this year maybe even 6. Meyersdale losing Hoover is such a big loss that I think that turns them into a 2-3 win team now.
Shade schedule:

@ Portage
Ferndale
@ Conemaugh Valley
North Star
@ Berlin Brothersvalley
@ Saltsburg
Meyersdale
@ Rockwood
Blacklick Valley

Shade starts the season at Portage and then comes home to face Ferndale. Didn't get a chance to look at the rest of their schedule.

to answer to dragonfootball mu lost noone and is stroonger then they were last year they only lost 2 starters from last year off the line and one full back that only played for kai house when he was hurt so bellwood will have themselves a game no doubt mu has 3 nice backs and 3 good recviers and a qb that are all seniors and letterman and a solid defense that held central scoreless so keep them under the radar

Ferndale will be lucky to see the end zone this year. Eisenhuth will be running for his life most games. After the screwjob Penna Junior gave the program, replacing him with Senior was the wrong move...

Great movie, wrong comparison. Replacing Junior, who kind of resembles Luca Brazzi, with Senior is like replacing Michael Corleone with Fredo.

no disrespect. But you have to be kidding the hiring of Penna sr was not good for the program. I saw Ferndale play enough last yr to say that they should have atleast won 2 games (Shad and Rockwood come to mind). They do have some nice young talent Eisenhuth and Mason, they also showed a ton of heart and hustle in most games, what they lacked was fundamentals on the defensive side of the ball especially.

I consider myself a area football fan and I do root for the under dog and wish the jackets well. But Penna sr is not the right guy.

fair enough.. I mean no disrespect to Penna sr. just my opinion. I really do hope that Ferndale wins some games this yr. Goin 0-9 can t be fun and I was impressed with their heart and hustle in the 4 or 5 games I saw last yr.

Central Cambria you have a more athletic team then last year a better qb so we will see. Also no more Buzzard O were one kid gets the ball 20-30 times. You will still have the power running but more options with the flexbone. I think the game will be a good one tonight not one sided like everyone thinks.

It's a fair bet you can put Richland at the top of this list for at least tonight's play. No one on here respected them nor expected anything from them. Surprise...

Richland will still go 8-2 at best, which would get them a home playoff game and put them in a great spot for a deep playoff run. Which is certainly a very very good season.
